DCL Booking and Cancellation Guidelines

Planning your dream cruise with DCL is an exciting journey, and understanding the payment and cancellation policies is an essential part of the process. Whether you're booking your first cruise or you're a seasoned traveler, our straightforward guidelines will help you navigate the booking procedures with ease. From initial deposit requirements to detailed cancellation policies, we've outlined everything you need to know to manage your reservation confidently. The policies are designed to offer flexibility and peace of mind, ensuring that your cruise experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Initial Deposit Information

  • Deposit Requirement: A deposit of 20% of the cruise fare is required at the time of booking for all passengers, including children under 3 years old.

  • Deposit Conditions: Deposits are fully refundable until the final payment deadline, except for Concierge room bookings. While Concierge room deposits are non-refundable, you have the flexibility to change your cruise date and room category.

Applicable Situations for Deposit:

  • New reservations

  • Reservations with a changed sail date

  • Reinstated bookings

Final Payment Details

  • Payment Deadline: The deadline for the final payment varies based on the cruise length and room category (suite/concierge or non-suite/non-concierge).

Final Payment and Cancellation Policies

For Cruises of 1-5 Nights (Excluding Suites and Concierge Rooms):

  • Final Payment Due: 90 days before the cruise

  • Cancellation Fees:

    • 89 to 45 days before arrival: Deposit amount per guest

    • 44 to 30 days before arrival: 50% of the total cruise cost

    • 29 to 15 days before arrival: 75% of the total cruise cost

    • 14 to 0 days before arrival: 100% of the total cruise cost

For Cruises of 6 Nights or More (Excluding Suites and Concierge Rooms):

  • Final Payment Due: 120 days before the cruise

  • Cancellation Fees:

    • 119 to 56 days before arrival: Deposit amount per guest

    • 55 to 30 days before arrival: 50% of the total cruise cost

    • 29 to 15 days before arrival: 75% of the total cruise cost

    • 14 to 0 days before arrival: 100% of the total cruise cost

Suites and Concierge Rooms (For All Cruises):

  • Deposit: Non-refundable

  • Final Payment Due: 150 days before the cruise

  • Cancellation Fees:

    • 90 days or more before arrival: Deposit amount per guest

    • 89 to 56 days before arrival: 50% of the total cruise cost

    • 55 to 30 days before arrival: 75% of the total cruise cost

    • 29 to 0 days before arrival: 100% of the total cruise cost

Restricted Categories: Bookings for Inside, Outside, or Verandah rooms with restrictions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Full payment is required at booking, and a 100% cancellation fee applies from the time of payment.
